About Us

Being at the heart of Birkbeck

Some say, the ancient Egyptians were playing tenpin bowling while rolling around in the pyramids. While others describe it as an American sport. All we know is... IT'S A REALLY FUN GAME!

The Birkbeck Tenpin Bowling Club is taught by a very special someone... yourself! Members promote and support each other and at times they fool around and distract everyone else. We are a small and humble club, and unlike many others, we ensure that the club is sustainable and sexy at the same time. Students and staff often hear about how successful this club is and they do enjoy the banter.

The main benefits of joinging the Tenpin Bowling Club isn't that you become friends with your fellow Birkbeck students, but you also feel a small part a community. Birkbeck is for life, not a degree.

We play HARD BALL!

Our home turf is at Bloomsbury Lanes, just about a 3 minute walk from the Birkbeck Malet Street campus.
