Training and Support for Candidates

We are here to support you, Student Voice team are here to support all candidates through the election process. Please let us know if you need any support but please remeber that SU staff must remain impartial throughout the elections which does mean we are unable to give you advice on running your campaign. 

Being a candidate is a really exciting time! You get to start building your election campaign and can be creative with it. During training you will mix with the other candidates and meet your Student Union Elections Team. While this time is every exicting it can also be challanging, remember the SU team are here to help, even if you just need someone to talk to. 

The training will cover the rules and regulations of the election, the campaign strategies and tips, and the responsibilities and expectations of each role. The training will also give you an opportunity to network with other candidates and ask any questions you may have.  All training will be recorded if you are unable to attend.
