Welcome to the Birkbeck Men's Football Team! 

Overview

In the 2026/27 Season, we will be hosting regular training sessions in central London, as well as weekly fixtures against other London universities as we compete in the BUCS LUSL League and Cup competitions!

Due to our increased growth, we will be hosting trial periods before the season commences to fill places for our 1st and 2nd team! If your place is confirmed we ask that you grab your COMPULSORY membership below to join the group and receive important communications, such as when our matches, events and activities will be. Feel free to get in touch with us in advance via our Instagram if you have any questions! 

The Football Team is a fantastic way to meet some new faces from Birkbeck while also playing the worlds game! We plan to incorporate monthly or bi-monthly social events alongside our matches to create a more inclusive environment and build team chemistry! 

Training!

Training sessions will be held on a weekly basis and will run throughout the entirety of the LUSL Season

We charge a very small membership fee to help fund the group's activity. Which is heavily subsidised by Students' Union funding, as we continue to make extra-curricular activity at Birkbeck as accessible as possible - as it should be! If you are a student from another UoL instution, a Birkbeck alumni, staff member or guest, we ask you contribute a slightly larger amount to ensure a fair and transparent deal for current Birkbeck students, and to keep groups affordable and sustainable.
