The time has come to shape the future of your Student Union! Voting is now open for several exciting Volunteer Leadership Roles. This is your chance to support your peers, influence decisions, and drive positive change across the university.
1. Student Head of Faculty
This prestigious role is open to one undergraduate (UG) and one postgraduate (PG) student per faculty — only six students in total will hold this title. Student Heads of Faculty work closely with faculty leadership to represent students, influence decisions, and enhance the student experience.
2. Student Parliament Positions
Passionate about university-wide change? Vote for your Student Parliament representatives — including the Chair and other key roles. Student Parliament members lead discussions, influence policy, and make sure student voices are heard at every level of the university.
3. Societies, Sports Clubs, and Network Committee Members
From football and dance to film nights and social mixers — every society, club, and network is led by an elected committee. These Captains, Chairs, Vice-Chairs, and Treasurers make the events and experiences you love possible. Vote for the people you think will make your community even better!
4. Academic Representatives (Non-Elected)
Academic Representatives represent student voices in their modules and programmes by working with lecturers to address concerns and improve the learning experience. Note: This position is not elected. If you’d like to become an Academic Rep, simply speak to your lecturer.
