We're having an Annual General Meeting next week! Come and join us on Tuesday 24th January at 9pm in MAL B18.

As per our own rules, every year we hold a meeting for Birkbeck students to communicate with their members about the organisation. Everything we do at the Students' Union is designed to improve your student experience one way or another: from encouraging you to self-organise, elect committees, run events, set up campaigns or societies. All of this is co-ordinated by your elected student Executive Committee & our small but dedicated staff team.

The Agenda

  1. To receive the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 27 October 2017. Previous (AGM 2017) Minutes

  2. To consider any Matters Arising from the Minutes not covered by other items on the agenda.

  3. To receive and note the statement of accounts and report of activity for the 2016/17 financial year.

  4. To agree the Union’s new constitution. CLG Articles Students as Company Law Members

  5. To close the meeting, there being no other business notified.

The formal meeting will be followed by an opportunity for members to ask elected officers questions about the turnaround process and plans for 2017/18 onwards.Unlink

The new constitution can be read here (CLG Articles Students as Company Law Members) and these will be the new rules that we will be adopting once it is approved. Please have a read through the Constitution to understand the important changes that the Students' Union from our turnaround process to improve our services to you.
