Meet your Welfare Sabbatical Officer

Suna Brockford is Birkbeck Students’ Union’s Welfare Sabbatical Officer for the 2026/27 academic year. She focuses on welfare issues, ensuring your views are heard and helping to improve support and wellbeing across the university.

Wellbeing is an important part of the Students’ Union’s work. We want to make it easier to find the support available to you, discover opportunities to connect with others and access services that help you get the most out of your time at Birkbeck.

If you have any thoughts, concerns or questions about student welfare, you can contact Suna at su-welfare@bbk.ac.uk.

You can also get in touch with the other Sabbatical Officers if your query relates to a different area. Find out more about your Students’ Union team.

Whatever’s on your mind, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we're here for you!
